Accounting for financial institutions
This course aims to introduce students to the fundamental components and characteristics of accounting systems applied in various types of financial institutions (banks, insurance companies, etc.), and to study the methods and procedures that govern the financial accounting cycle in these systems, from processing and recording financial transactions to classifying, summarizing, analyzing, and presenting them in their respective accounts and financial statements.
