Distributed Systems and Applications 1
The concepts of distributed systems, the concept of Remote Calling (RPC), Remote Method Calling (RMI), and the CORBA environment are presented. It also provides principles of distributed software design, distributed algorithms, and models used to build distributed applications from the client-server model, the peer-peer model, and their derivatives.
