This course aims to introduce the science of Management Information Systems (MIS) and its relationship to other management concepts, the concepts, methodologies, tools, and techniques for building information systems, and to study the types of MIS in different business organizations. It also examines functional information systems (production management information systems, marketing management information systems, human resource management information systems, financial management information systems, statistical information systems, and materials management information systems) and introduces the system lifecycle.
