Small business management
This course aims to introduce students to the concept and size of small businesses, their importance and specific characteristics, and the concept of entrepreneurship within them. It also aims to equip students with the criteria for distinguishing small businesses, methods for establishing and financing them, the legal forms of small business ownership, and the economic and social role of small businesses. Furthermore, it covers management methods that contribute to the success of these businesses, including indicators for measuring the size of small businesses and the functions of management and managers. Finally, it examines the current state of small businesses in Syria and the Arab world and their potential for development.…
