Documents required for registration at Al-Shahba Private University

First: Students admitted to Al-Shahba Private University:

Students accepted by preference at Al-Shahba Private University complete their registration procedures with the Student Affairs Department after submitting the following supporting documents:

  1. A registration application according to the approved form, to be filled in by the student personally.
  2. The original secondary school certificate + (2) certified copies.
  3. The higher secondary certificate according to which the student was accepted, the original + (2) certified copies.
  4. A copy of the personal ID for Syrian students or a passport for Arab or foreign students.
  5. (6) recent colored personal photos measuring (3 x 4) cm, number (6).
  6. A medical report from the authority approved by the university presidency proving that the student is free from communicable diseases.
  7. Fees are collected not to exceed the maximum number of credit hours that a student is entitled to register for a semester.

The identity papers of each student are kept in a special file to which all data, documents and incidents related to the student's university life are gradually added. The said file is the main reference for the student's university life.

Second: Old students at Al-Shahba Private University:

  • Old students complete their registration after taking into account the opinion of the academic supervisor and the dean of the college to view the open courses, know their academic status, and ensure the minimum and maximum hours they are allowed to register for.
  • Late registration:
  1. If the student is late in registering within the period specified for registration in the university calendar, he can register in the first week of the academic year and be fined 15% of the fees incurred for the courses he is registering for.
  2. If the student is late in registering until after the end of the first week and before the end of the third week of the academic year, he can register with a fine of 25% of the fees incurred for the courses for which he registers.

In all cases, the person wishing to register at the university is not considered a student unless he pays all the fees prescribed for the semester in which he wishes to register, and after that he is granted a university card for the academic year in which he registered.
